Pharmacologist with Cancer Expertise

In-Vivo Pharmacology --- Cancer Biology

 

My client is a rapidly growing, established biotech firm & they seek an experienced In-Vivo Pharmacologist to join their growing Cancer Biology team.  This person will lead projects and personnel in the oncology area --

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

 

--Ph.D. or equivalent experience and greater than 3-5 years pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical experience (or Assistant Professor from academic environment)

 

--Strong cancer biology background with experience in development of in vitro and in vivo screens, cancer immunology and pharmacology (should be familiar with cancer disease animal models, efficacy testing and mechanism of action studies.)

 

--Experience with drug development, lead identification and optimization to IND is preferred.

 

-- Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary  (well organized and able to prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses with minimal assistance.)

 

--Demonstrated leadership abilities, including project and personnel managerial abilities are essential.
