Position: Phylonix is a Contract Research Organization using zebrafish for drug screening and target identification and validation. The Company is performing studies for international biopharmaceutical companies. We are developing disease models that mimic human disease. The Company is well financed by commercial contracts and NIH/NSF grants. Phylonix offers an excellent opportunity for publishing pioneering research.

Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. and 1 year of postdoctoral or industry experience in toxicology, pharmacology, or biochemistry. Experience with zebrafish disease models and imaging platforms is desirable. This is a hands on position requiring extensive bench work.

Company Description: Phylonix has developed general and organ specific toxicity tests, as well as other bioassays such as apoptosis and angiogenesis. In addition, the company conducts custom designed studies, such as gene function analyses. We are located close to public transportation in Inman Square/Central Square in Cambridge, MA.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience. Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Plan, 401K.
