Principal Scientist Clinical PK

This position directs and conducts highly sophisticated research requiring the application of advanced knowledge in pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism.  It performs the following:  identifies research goals and formulates development plans to support R and D needs; may lead a team of technical specialists to implement research and development plans; represents the Department as an expert in pharmacokinetics and drug development and makes recommendations to management regarding development of new therapeutic agents; prepares and reviews research reports for corporate and regulatory agencies; plays a major role in training, motivating, developing, appraising, coordinating and/or supervising technical staff.

 

 

The Requirements

 
Ph.D. level education with 7 to 8 years of applicable experience.
Emerging national recognition defined as having achieved one or more of the following: Technological accomplishments which have had a positive impact on the organization or field; Scientific findings that have the potential to open new markets and market opportunities and will add to the company's technology base; Patent applications in the area of specialization; Scientific publications in area of specialization.
Scientific leadership skills; ability to lead research team to meet goals and objectives.
Strong experience in interactions with regulatory agencies.
