Print Shift Leader

position Summary:

 

This position is responsible for providing leadership to shift team colleagues in the Printing Department.  It also has full responsibility for guiding the team towards successfully meeting customer requirements, minimizing costs and maximizing profits.  Resourcefulness must also be used to achieve yield, foreign and rate goals.  Motivating team members, rewarding positive performance and addressing insufficient performance are highly important to success. 

 Education 

?  College degree required or substantial equivalent experience.

?  Completion of Capsugel?s Manufacturing Certification Program desired.

 

Experience

?  At least 5-10 years of proven performance in a leadership role.

?  Experience in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, basic computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to make good business decisions when under pressure are desirable.

?  Experience with performance measurement systems, setting metrics, and managing performance appraisals is desirable.

?  Experience in developing people is a must.
