Production Laboratory Technician

The technician is responsible for working with the Cocci vaccine production through pre-licensing to commercial production. This position will work independently in all areas in the production of Cocci Vaccine. Responsibilities will involve - performing all processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, utilizing sterile technique at all times, active knowledge of working under laminar flow hoods and HEPA filtered environment, and keeping the lab area clean and sterile at all times. Other responsibilities include maintaining accurate and timely reports, completing all calculations, and independently batch serials.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in microbiology or biology related field
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry it 10 ft
- Self motivated, ability to think ahead to next task
- Work well under pressure
- Strong mathematical skills

- Position requires flexible work hours with two workdays per week over 8 hours, in a 40 hours work week, and 2 weekends per month.
