Primary Objective of Position:


This position will provide project management support to several research projects, and independently manage assigned Research Operations activities..



Major Duties/Responsibilities:
Support operational and strategic project planning
Track critical path issues and activities, and work with project leader to enlist key people to resolve these obstacles in order to expedite the drug discovery process
Prepare reports and summaries to support decision-making and budget processes
Assist project leaders to develop and update yearly strategic project plans
Track project expenditures vs. budget
Coordinate and assist with preparation of project reports and summaries for senior research management
Support overall project team function, and assist team leaders in their strategic function
Follow-up on issues, actions and risk to program and assist in identifying contingency and mitigation plans
Oversee and manage assigned Research Operations activities, including delegation and oversight of some activities of departmental administrative assistants


Minimum Education Requirements:


BA/BS; Life Sciences, Chemical or Pharmaceutical Sciences preferred



Minimum Experience Requirements:


4 years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical



Skills/Abilities:


- Excellent organizational and managerial skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
