Project Manager - Solid Dose Technology Transfer

This position is responsible for the management of, scale up, and technical transfer to commercial scale for solid dosage products.  The successful candidate will support in the management of the design manufacturing processes, planning and execution of optimization studies, facilitate scale-up and tech transfer, might be required to assist in the preparation protocols and reports, and provide technical support to pilot plant and production.  The candidate will also identify and independently manage priorities and task assignments across multiple projects and groups and act as catalyst and primary contact for multiple functional areas across project teams. He/she will present to senior management project status, plans, issues and recommendations. This position might have some minimal travel.

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidate should be fully bilingual (English & Spanish, oral and written).  A BS in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline combined with 5+ years of experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical environment and 1+ years of project management experience is required.  Significant experience with solid dosage (tablet) development, and process, equipment and computer validation is preferred.  Superior leadership and communication skills are also required.
