Proteomics-Sr. Product Manager/Marketing Manager- Boston, MA

They are a leading provider of scientific instruments, consumables and services to the pharmaceutical, biomedical, environmental testing and general industrial markets.

 

Position Description:

 

? Development and implementation of strategic and tactical product marketing plans

? Maintain knowledge and expertise in the related market segment

? Proactively monitor competitive activity and market trends, summarize and analyze, and recommend appropriate strategies and actions to pre-empt or respond.

? Work with the Marketing Director, R&D and product development teams to contribute to new product development

? Assist in developing selling proposition platforms and implementing marketing activities and literature in concert with Marketing Communications Manager

? Support and implement promotional programs, including financial analysis, training, and developing or assisting with selling tools, and launching the promotion

?  

 

 

Qualifications:

 

? BS or higher in the life sciences (Biochemistry, Molecular, Biology, etc?); MBA preferred

? 3+ years of marketing experience in the life science consumables and/or instrumentation industries is a must.

? Strong R&D background in Proteomics is highly desired

? Must have excellent verbal and written communications and PowerPoint presentation skills

? Ability to travel 25% is required

 

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Total compensation will be commensurate with the experience, but should be expected to fall within $75,000-110,000
