QC Inspector incoming materials

We are currently recruiting this temp-to-hire position for our client located in Berkeley.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

? Performs accurate and timely inspection of medical device components according to established procedures.

? Adheres to established clean room protocols.

? Filter polymer final products according to established procedures.

? Label and inspect finished product, both polymer and device.

? Timely communication of relevant issues to manager including issues regarding quality, safety, and scheduling.

? Is accountable for maintaining a clean, orderly and safe work environment.

? Maintains confidential laboratory notebook as needed.

? Comply with all safety requirements, including posted placards, SOPs and the Safety Manual.

? Report any observed unsafe equipment, condition or practice immediately to a supervisor, management or member of the Safety Committee.

? Adhere to Quality System procedures and the ISO 9001:2000 standard. 

Skills & Work Requirements:
High School Diploma and/or AA degree or relevant work experience ? Previous experience in a QC environment performing inspection experience desired.
Ability to use inspection instruments such as microscopes, calipers and pin gauges.
Ability to follow written technical instructions. ? Proficient using MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Punctual, self-starter, dependable and detail-oriented.
