QC / R&D Research Associate

DESCRIPTIONCurrently, one of our clients in Lexington, MA is seeking a Research Associate to share time between projects in QC and R&D. The primary responsibility (40-60%) for this candidate will be to perform a cell based potency assay in a QC environment for release of the company's lead cancer product undergoing testing in clinical trials. The candidate must have experience with aseptic mammalian cell culture and ELISA.

The remaining time will be spent in the R&D department supporting multiple product candidates. Working with a group of scientists, the successful candidate would maintain mammalian cell lines and contribute to protein characterization using various biochemical and cellular assays, including peptide re-presentation assays, flow cytometry, and cell imaging by microscopy. Other responsibilities include expression of various proteins in support of research programs. REQUIREMENTSQualifications: M.S. with 1-2 years experience or B.S. with 3+ years of experience. Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus, including ability to read and understand SOPs and STMs.
