QC Staff

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Seeking a detail oriented person to work with the Environmental Review Committee and facility qualification group to support start-up of new manufacturing suites. The successful candidate will actively participate in facility related investigations and issues. The candidate will work closely with laboratory supervisors, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other functional areas to assure timely completion of investigations. Responsibilities:
Ensure timely issuance, draft and approval of investigations/Corrective and Preventative Actions/Interim Reports within the department. Work closely with all groups involved completing and determining short and long-term corrective action where appropriate.
Track compliance observations and recommend corrective action.
Schedule discussions/meetings with QA, Manufacturing, area or assay experts, etc. as necessary.
Become familiar with facility monitoring programs.
Respond to Out of Tolerance reports and contractor investigations.
Maintain knowledge of current regulatory compliance issues and industry trends.
Support summary trend reports for facility monitoring programs.
Participate in regulatory inspections and aid in developing audit responses.

Requirements
BS or BA with 4 years experience in a Quality Control environment, or MS with 2 years is required. Candidate must have ability to work in a team environment, have a collaborative and proactive approach to quality, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
