QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Aesculap Inc. ? Missouri, has an excellent opportunity for a QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN at the Hazelwood, Missouri location.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for the inspection and disposition of incoming components, finished products, and packaging/labeling products.  Disseminates information and provides reports regarding the inspection and test status of product in QC to various departments.  Participates in special projects such as first article inspections, measurement analysis, fit to mating part analysis, design verification testing, and gage repeatability studies.  Assists in the establishment of quality control specifications and revises existing specifications to support new product introductions.  Uses statistical sampling plans to inspect product.

 

REQUIREMENTS:  Must be detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication skills.  Must be willing to follow strict FDA guidelines.  Must have understanding of GMP.  Position requires ability to frequently or constantly exert up to 20 pounds of force and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.  Normal working hours are

7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m.  Must be able to work required overtime. 

 

EDUCATION: Requires a BS degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Requires minimum of 4 years Quality Control related experience.
