We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Quality Control Chemist located in our Cincinnati, Ohio offices.

Responsibilities include:

Responsible for performing routine testing on raw materials and/or finished product pharmaceuticals in compliance with cGMPs.
Perform analytical analysis using HPLC, GC, UV/VIS, FTIR, and dissolution with robotics
Create and maintain accurate lab record documentation (written & computer-based)
Perform algebraic calculations to quantify test results, computer analysis of chromatographic results for use in a LIMS
Perform analysis and provide feedback on systems to promote continuous improvement
Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment as needed
Peer review of analytical documentation, as needed

Position Requirements include:

BS in chemistry or related quantitative scientific discipline
0 - 7 years of experience in an analytical chemistry lab
Experience in a GMP or ISO environment desirable
Familiarity with laboratory information systems desirable
Thorough knowledge of cGMPs, wet chemistry techniques, familiarity with analytical instrumentation theory and practice desirable
Knowledge of MS Office applications
Technical writing skills, including reports, data summaries and specifications
Capable of maintaining clear and concise laboratory records
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Ability to troubleshoot analytical problems with instrumentation, general chemistry, and computer applications
