QUALITY CONTROL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Test research oligonucleotides in 96-well plate format. Maintain inventory and prepare samples for biological screening. Must conduct work in compliance with quality and safety requirements. Assist in performing routine and non-routine testing of analytical samples for quality control of raw materials, production intermediates and final products.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

The successful candidate will have a BS in biology, chemistry, or related life science with a minimum of 2-3 years experience in pharmaceutical development.  Should have experience in the following areas: Robotics; HPLC.  Strong communication skills required.  Experience with MS Office required.  Should be comfortable working in a fast paced, team oriented environment. Interest in learning additional analytical techniques, e.g. MS, FT-IR, NIR, NMR etc., and basics of oligonucleotide chemistry is desired.
