RESEARCH BIOSTATISTICIAN

Job Responsibilities:

Candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of statistical theory and
methods, genetics and population genetics with training and or experience in
statistical genetics. Basic understanding of statistical applications in
genetics, transcriptional profiling, proteomics, metabonomics and genetic
epidemiology is required. Familiarity with standard and evolving theory and
methods in statistical genetics to understand the relationships between genetic
variation and phenotypic variation and disease endpoints at the population
level is essential. Knowledge of and familiarity with complex adaptive systems
theory, statistical genetics software and statistical analysis computer
packages SAS, splus are desirable. Knowledge of clinical trials would be a
plus. A self starter thinking outside the box with collaborative experience and
strong oral and written communication skills is essential

Job Requirements/Education:

Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, Biomathematics or Ph.D. in Biology,
Genetics, Population Genetics with concentration in Statistics. One to five
years experience.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
