Regional Sales Manager - Cattle

Our client is a fast growing global animal products company.  This  explosive growth has resulted in this company now being one the top bovine animal health businesses in the USA.  To continue thier expansion, our client is looking for a Regional Sales Manager - Feedyard Sales Unit for their south-central US territory which encompasses Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas.  The RSM will be responsible for sales goals and effective sales management of the Feedyard sales team to achieve business objectives.  Recruiting and development of key talent is crucial.  Responsibility includes managing expenses and achieving/exceeding the regional budget.  Up to 70% travel is required.  You will also be an active member of the Business Unit's Senior Management Team, contributing to the strategic direction of the cattle business unit through the development and execution of regional plans for the feedlot business in the south. The RSM is a high-profile position with the ability to move up 2 levels within the company. The position includes base salary, sales incentive pay, medical and dental insurance, 401K savings and profit sharing plan, company car, and covered territory expenses.

 

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science or related field and be a highly motivated self-starter with a track record including 5+ years of successful sales experience.  Feedyard sales experience, 2+ years sales management experience and an agriculture background are strongly preferred.  Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communications, presentation and sales management skills are required.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is necessary.  To see more job opportunities, please visit www.thevetrecruiter.com.
