Research Assistant

 Research Assistant Biochemistry, Lexington StatusFull-Time Job DutiesWorking with a group of scientists, the successful candidate would maintain multiple mammalian cell lines, and contribute to expression of various proteins in support of research programs. Other responsibilities include protein characterization using various biochemical and cellular assays, including peptide representation assays, flow cytometry, and cell imaging by microscopy.  Education Necessary:B.S. with 1-2 years of relevant experience  Experience Necessary:Experience of molecular biology and biochemical techniques is essential, as are strong lab skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a team setting. An ability to plan, design, and interpret experimental results is a distinct plus. Must have good communication, and computer skills.
