 Description

This position develops and performs various assays, tests and procedures to make, characterize or evaluate products of value to the company. Working knowledge of complex techniques involved with the isolation, purification and characterization proteins and their subcomponents, as appropriate in the specific departmental and laboratory setting.

 Required Skills

Master's Degree (e.g. in Microbiology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry or Immunology) or Baccalaureate Degree and with at least five years relevant experience. Over two years experience post-Master?s Degree in laboratory techniques such as PCR cloning, protein expression, ELISA, bacterial cell culture, microbiological techniques and functional assays, including carrying out technical experiments in complex scientific projects. Knowledge of federal guidelines and internal SOP's.
