Research Associate ? Protein Purification /Enzyme Kinetics

The candidate will work in a biochemistry laboratory that purifies human and viral proteins for use in screening and mechanism of action studies. Responsibilities to include production, purification and characterization of recombinant proteins.

Requirements: B.S./M.S./Ph D  degree Chemistry or Biochemistry or related field with at least 3 years of laboratory experience. The candidate should have extensive experience in a variety of protein purification techniques (FPLC, SDS PAGE, western Blotting, affinity chromatography. Expertise in the area the following; Enzyme Kinetics, Km and VMax Determination, protein characterization studies, a plus. Successful candidate will have good written and oral communication skills, have the ability to work in team settings, and is expected to be highly motivated, hard working, and enthusiastic.
