Quintiles Strategic Research Services is a global business dedicated to supporting commercialization of healthcare technologies through strategic research (late phase clinical studies, health outcomes research, and consulting services). We are currently seeking three entry-level Research Analysts for our Northern Virginia offices. Research Analysts are expected to assume a significant level of responsibility in a diverse range of research studies for the healthcare industry. Applicants should demonstrate an ability to work effectively, independently and in teams on all phases of project work and should demonstrate an analytical approach to issues and a strong problem solving capability.

Research Analysts support firm-wide research activities, so applicants should be prepared to work with several managers simultaneously and, in doing so, manage their own time effectively. Successful applicants have completed their undergraduate studies and have diverse academic, professional, and personal backgrounds, including studies in the health sciences, economics, social sciences, and mathematics.

REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS (GPA > 3.0, preferably GPA > 3.4). We do not seek specific majors or programs, only outstanding critical reasoning skills.

Strong interpersonal, analytic, and writing skills are required.

Experience with quantitative analysis, research design, and computer-based data analysis (spreadsheets, SAS, etc.) is highly desirable. Actual experience, classroom exposure, or demonstrated interest in public health issues and/or the healthcare industry is very helpful.
