Research Associate - Clinical Lab

Insmed Therapeutic Proteins is our recombinant protein production facility, located in Boulder, CO, which is currently producing IPLEXTM, an FDA approved, once-daily IGF-I replacement therapy as well as a novel anticancer drug, rhIGFBP-3. At this location, we are currently recruiting for Research Associates for our Clinical Lab Group.

The primary responsibilities for these positions include:

? Conducting immunoassays of clinical samples.
? Conducting electrophoretic analysis of purified protein using SDS-PAGE.
? Performing research and/or development in collaboration with others for projects.
? Making detailed observations, analyzing data and interpreting results.
? Preparing technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses.
? Investigating, creating and developing new methods and technologies for project advancement.
? Other duties as assigned

These positions require a B.S. degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. Method validation and experience writing/developing validation protocols is desirable. Previous analytical experience, specifically with ELISA, SDS-PAGE, and HPLC, is also preferred. ELISA development experience is also desirable. Demonstrated working knowledge of scientific principles is also required, and knowledge of GMPs/GLPs and familiarity with using SOPs and associated controlled documents is desirable.
