Research Associate - FACS

OVERALL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position will focus on cell culture development for new and existing products using mammalian expression systems. The candidate will assist in development and characterization of mammalian cell lines that express high levels of recombinant proteins. Experience with FACS and standard bacteriologic and molecular biology techniques such as PCR and DNA cloning is desirable. Experience is required with mammalian cell culture techniques including growth and maintenance of attached and suspension cells, DNA transfection, cell freezing, and techniques for analyzing recombinant protein expression including ELISA and Western blotting. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint recommended. Level of the position will be based on candidate?s experience.
