Current Opportunity ? Research Associate ? Target Validation

 

BS/MS level scientist with 2+ years of industrial/academic laboratory experience to study novel cancer targets that regulate tumor initiation, progression and maintenance and which were identified through proprietary genetic screens. The primary responsibility will be to examine the role of these targets in human cancer, and to study their biology in depth using cell culture-based models. A strong background in mammalian cell culture, generation of stable and inducible gene expression systems, RNA interference, quantitative RT PCR, and standard molecular biology/cell biology techniques (including transfections, PCR, subcloning) is required.
