PDL BioPharma, Inc. has a new opening in its Information Technology department for an SAP HR Business Analyst. This position is responsible for designing HR SAP solutions to meet the daily demands of the business. These responsibilities include: identifying and designing requirements, system development, testing, training and support.

 

Responsibilities:Providing functional process design and documentation of multiple business process areas. Working with the user community to identify their requirements, design enhancements and functionality to help meet user requirements.Performing configuration work as needed to support new and existing functionality.Functioning as the resident team expert for all configuration issues (both support and project) within areas (modules) of expertise.Serving as functional integration owner for multiple process areas.Preparing functionality specifications and delivering to SAP developers.Working with the user community to determine the best solution to help resolve customer problems and satisfy customer requirements.Collaborating with the SAP developers and the Quality Assurance team to develop and test significant new functionality and enhancements.Performing integration testing work, as necessary to ensure that new functionality or enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionality.Training end users on new enhancements or functionality.Coaching and mentoring other SAP Analysts and Support Center Analysts.Utilizing methodology and tasks required during each phase of the implementation.Following all design work and integration testing protocols, change control procedures, uses standards, procedures, and practices in performing required work.Maintaining service level agreements to ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.

 

Requirements:Bachelor?s degree.Extensive experience in at least two full life cycles SAP Implementation for large/complex projects. Experience developing and tracking project plans.Excellent working knowledge of SAP HR modules and full understanding of the integration of SAP-HR with other SAP modules. Extensive knowledge of SAP Time Management & Time Evaluation, including understanding of ESS and MSS. Knowledge of payroll and benefits a plus. Knowledge of ABAP is a plus.Familiarity/experience with FI/CO, Travel Management, SM, SD, MM/PP and CRM is a plus. Ability to develop functional specifications for development activities including interfaces, enhancements, reports and conversions. Strong interpersonal, communication, computer, analytical and diagnostic skills. Self-starter and team player.
