Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

* The SAP Calibration Coordinator is responsible for data integrity and thoroughness of all instrumentation master data within the SAP system. The successful candidate must have a B.S. in Engineering or related field. Prior experience in chemical or pharmaceutical industry is a plus! Prior experience in SAP 4.6C is required.> Working within a cros functional group able to achieve consensus. Knowledge of FDA, DEA, OSHA and EPA expectations for pharmaceutical chemical operations are desired. Training and rollout of procedures and processes within SAP, therefore must be comfortable making presentations and training individuals. Proficient in computer skills required (MS Office). Qualified candidates must possess strong analytical skills as well as a demonstrated proficiency in both written and oral communications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Audit process and lab equipment to insure all instrumentation is entered into the SAP Technical Object database.

* Work with Engineering to initiate instrumentation setup on new project installations.

* Audit calibration strategies and periodicity for consistency based upon instrument type and service.

* Assist site to achieve and maintain full compliance in regulatory affairs including FDA,DEA, OSHA, DEQ agencies. Enter all "as found/as left" calibration data.

* Assist in corrective action plans fro "Out of Tolerance" instrument calibrations.

* Support the total quality management initiative, align the quality process with the appropriate regulatory requirements, integrate processes and concepts that advance the consistent accuracy and high standards of the quality system.

* Promote safety and zero defect safety philosophy in CMMS design and implementation of SAP work flow systems. Exhibit active participation and leadership in safety meetings and issues regarding safety.

* Extract calibration schedule data and coordinate with outside vendors to complete calibrations within allotted time.
