SR SCIENTIST

Job Responsibilities:

The role of the Sr. Scientist is to lead activities in process improvement and
or validation of cell culture processes for biologic products. This includes
training and supervision of junior staff in design of experiments, preparation
of SOPs, performance of experiments, analysis of results, verification of data
and preparation of appropriate documentation and reports. This position also
involves to lead troubleshooting and solving of technical problems observed at
manufacturing scale through effective design of scale down studies and data
evaluation of bulk manufacturing lots. Candidate is responsible to supervise
the execution of experiments to support the technical transfer of manufacturing
processes to third party manufacturers. Knowledge in cGMP and GLP and
regulatory requirements necessary. Experience in working in leading cross
functional teams is essential.

Job Requirements/Education:

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Biochemical Engineering or Cell
Culture Sciences with 4 plus years of experience in relevant field. Experience
with cGMP regulations and regulatory requirements for biologics process
validation are necessary. Demonstrated problem solving ability, interpersonal
and oral written communication skills are essential along with leadership
skills with proven staff experience.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.
