Sample Management Coordinator

Kelly Scientific Resources is assisting a major pharmaceutical company in Pearl River, NY find a Sample Management Coordinator. This long term temporary technician will primarily perform the function of sample receipt and distribution for the QC Chemistry/Biochemistry laboratories.

The sample coordinator will review incoming samples label against accompanying documents and enter sample receipt into sample receipt logbooks or the LACES/LIM System. Samples requiring QC testing are delivered to the laboratory and received by the Sample Management Group on a daily basis. Sample labels and documentation will be checked for correct and complete information upon receipt as per applicable procedures or stored under appropriate conditions until distribution. Sample disposition is handled as per the applicable SOP.

The candidate must be organized, detail oriented, have an understanding of good documentation practices and preferably have some experience in a GMP environment. BS in Biology, Chemistry or related science required.

Work hours:
Wednesday - Friday 2nd shift (3pm-11pm).
Saturday -Sunday 1st shift (8am-4pm).
Monday & Tuesday off.
