In this position, you will provide analytical development support for late phase development compounds, including analytical methods development and validation, impurity identification, and specification setting for both drug substance and drug product. The selected candidate will perform experiments using HPLC-MS, GC-MS, HPLC, GC, FTIR, TGA, DSC, KF, particle size measurement, etc.; work closely with outside vendors for technology transfer in support of manufacturing and testing activities; and provide critical reviews of data, timely resolution to issues and problems, and implementation of GMP compliance activities and SOPs.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of an M.S. in Analytical or Pharmaceutical Chemistry and 3 years of experience performing analytical methods development in the pharmaceutical industry using analytical instrumentation to solve challenging chemical problems. Must have experience in LC-MS. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph.D. and 1-3 years of experience in analytical methods development supporting process and formulation development.
