Develop and validate analysis characterizing recombinant antigens used as vaccines and monoclonal antibody products including complete drug substance characterization as well as analysis validating the removal of contaminant proteins and small molecules. The data obtained will be used to support various regulatory documents, particularly the CMC sections of BLAs. Development and qualification of analytical methods will be transferred to QC and used for release of raw materials, drug substance, drug product and stability.

Requirements:PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or other related discipline with a minimum of 5+years industry experience.A high level of expertise in various protein characterization techniques including protein chromatography, peptide mapping, carbohydrate characterization and sequencing and electrophoresis.Experience using LC/MS and MALDI/TOF for protein characterization cGMP experience and biophysics knowledge of bimolecular characterization desirable
