Screening Scientist

Screening Scientist needed for a 6-month contract. Candidate will assist biochemists/biologists in executing target-based high throughput automated screening of synthetic compound collections. Operate robotic units designed to run biochemical and/or cell-based assays in micro-plates with minimal supervision. Prepare and handle biological reagents according to written protocol. Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks according to company guidelines. Communicate with integrity experimental observations and outcomes. Follow all laboratory safety procedures.

Minimum Requirements: * B.S. in related field, at least 1-2 yrs exp. * Experience in kinase enzymology helpful * Molecular screening exp. preferred. * Should know buffers/ lab work. Needs to be highly motivated with lots of energy. * Will train.
