As an OA Lab Support Account Executive you would have the following responsibilities:

Develops list of prospective customers by utilizing On Assignment database, studying regional intelligence, job boards, and consulting with business associates and networking

Contacts employer prospects (in person and by phone/fax/email/in-person selling) to uncover customer needs for contract, project and direct hire clinical staff, relate the features and benefits of On Assignment services, its cost, and advantages.

Secures Master Service Agreement (contract) and negotiates pricing and terms consistent with company standards.

Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate division and company goals.

Develops initial job orders and ensures a successful transition of the service relationship to account management and staffing personnel in appropriate regions.

Monitors business levels and job orders for ideas to expand services available to present customers

Cultivates close professional relationships with client management personnel.

Confers with customers and company officials to monitor the quality of services provided and to resolve complaints

Monitors market conditions and activities of competitive firms to ensure competitive pricing and provide feedback to management regarding market opportunities.

Represents On Assignment at relevant trade association meetings to promote the company?s services.

Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

 

Experience

5+ years experience selling premium-priced staffing and or consulting services to CXO level individuals within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  Ideal candidate will be performing this function currently in the staffing or outsourcing industries.

Experience in strategic selling, major account/national account development, contract negotiation, etc

Ability to grow, manage and maintain strong market presence
