Senior Chemist/Analytical Trainer

Currently, we have an opening in out Mylan Pharmaceuticals division that develops, manufactures and markets nearly 200 generic pharmaceutical products in a variety of dosage forms and strengths.

 

Reporting directly to the Assistant Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate training of all laboratory personnel is conducted in a uniform, timely, and efficient manner by conducting analytical and method specific training, documenting, and tracking of all stages of training and performance and providing continuing education on the requirements of compliance in the regulated pharmaceutical industry.

 

The successful candidate must possess knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures, Mylan laboratory Procedures, USP regulations, 21 CFR, cGMP, OSHA regulations/procedures for disposal of organic waste procedures for the safe handling of chemicals. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, technical writing and documentation, reading, comprehension, organization, time management skills, and computer skills including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Lotus Notes. The candidate must be accurate, detail oriented and possess the ability to multi-task and effectively teach and exhibit knowledge transfer.

 

Bachelor?s degree in Chemistry or related science with 5-7 years laboratory experience in a GMP environment required.

GMP Certification
