Hudson Scientific is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Instrumentation Specialist with an established pharmaceutical company in Central New Jersey. This is a full-time position.

Preferred Requirements

Associate of Science in Electronic Technology or equivalent training.
Minimum 10 years experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of modern electrical and electronic control systems, including PLC?s.
Must have prior supervisory experience.
Experience with calibration management software.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site instrument repair/emergencies as well as corrective and preventative maintenance support in accordance with cGMP and ISO9000 procedures and requirements.
Track monthly calibration work to completion ensuring all are completed.
Supervise calibration technicians and outside vendors.
Diagnose instrument failures and provide troubleshooting as required.
Assist Engineering and Validation departments with instrumentation related activities for shut-downs and major projects (installation, set-up, etc).
Perform instrument configuration, programming and installation using electrical conduit to conform with OSHA Electrical Safety Requirements.
