Senior Lean Instructor

Install and maintain a standard work week at LAFC through kaizen activity - based upon an incrementally decreasing takt time and a balanced hybrid production process. Plan and maintain the kaizen momentum. Plan, administer and mentor part-time lean instructors and other key kaizen role players. Liaise with customers, senior management, employees and continuous improvement personnel. Demonstrated effectiveness in task completion, decision-making, empowerment of others, training, problem solving and team leadership. Awareness of current state-of-the-art technology of his/her expertise and introduce/implement new technologies to improve Baxter operations. Design, lead and perform experiments using sound lean principles. A functional understanding of FDA, ISO and Baxter Quality systems is also required as is a functional understanding of fractionation.

Qualifications
Required - Certified BioScience Lean Instructor.

Preferably - Shingijutsu Kaizen licensee.
Excellent interpersonal / communication / influencing / negotiation and facilitation skills.
Good project management skills
Working knowledge of Baxter Quality Systems and Fractionation.
Bachelor or Masters' degree with minimum of 7+ years of experience in commerce.
Experience as Lean Champion at a BioScience facility preferred
