Senior Manufacturing Mechanic

Provide production support to the manufacturing department.  Routine job responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to setting up, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all processing production and supporting equipment.  Adherence to FDA Regulations, GMP, ISO and other Department procedures and Manufacturing directions. Demonstrate the ability to setup, repair, and perform maintenance on all manufacturing equipment. Review manufacturing direction and work orders.  Set up all processing and filling equipment as the production schedules dictate.  Maintain equipment by performing preventive maintenance program as required by the preventive maintenance program.  Recommend improvements to the processing and filling equipment. Maintain adequate supply of spare parts and perform spare parts audits as required.  Operates processing equipment and filling equipment. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and problem solving.  May perform operator duties as required.

 

Knowledge and demonstration of manufacturing production equipment involving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic hardware required.  Knowledge of automation controls to include PLC programming, and manufacturing processes required.  Minimum of 5 years experience in troubleshooting and maintaining, repairing manufacturing equipment required.  Knowledge of planning and scheduling principles.  Knowledge of quality systems cGMP?s and FDA controls.  Computer program knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
