Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer/ Patient- Reproductive Health
Responsibilities:
Drive market expansion and market share of RH products by effectively developing and executing RH U.S. consumer and patient marketing strategies. Provide strategic input regarding consumer/patient positioning, USPs, key messages, and branding. Manage all RH U.S. consumer/patient marketing, advertising, and promotional programs within corporate and FDA regulatory guidelines and approved budgets. Manage and report on key metrics related to consumer/patient initiatives and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement and optimization of these programs.
Proactively develop and execute direct to consumer (DTC) and direct to patient (DTP) marketing programs. This includes development of media activities, and relationship marketing tools, programs, and services to support overall DTC/DTP objectives.
Work with TA senior management and Director of Marketing to lead strategic planning for consumer/patient marketing activities, including coordination with HCP marketing activities, creative platform development, and budget planning
Provide program direction, leadership and training guidance to Fertility LifeLines staff.
Play a supporting role in the construction of the RH US TA business plan.
Develop direct reports ensuring that all consumer marketing personnel receive proper training to perform their jobs effectively.
Provide leadership to direct reports that focuses team members on attaining results in a highly dynamic environment: coaching, performance management, development of people, etc.
Maintain close collaboration between Consumer Marketing and all other functions within the US TA, particularly Sales, Medical Affairs, TA Communications, and the EU and International RH Marketing team.
Collaborate with other therapeutic areas and Corporate Communications to leverage marketing expertise and programs as appropriate.
Work with TA Communications to ensure consistent and accurate external messaging.
Work with Consumer Marketing Manager to oversee the Consumer Marketing budget
Conduct marketing audits in areas to continuously identify/disseminate marketing best practices of high-performance areas.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION LEVEL AND LANGUAGES REQUIRED
BA/BS required
MBA or advanced degree preferred
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of six years of related marketing experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry or equivalent experience in a consumer/patient marketing organization with increasing magnitude of responsibility
At least three years managing and leading people
Experience managing vendors and contractors
Experience managing a marketing budget
Prior relationship marketing experience within biotech/pharmaceuticals/healthcare (client or agency side) a plus
