Job Description:

The candidate hired in this position will be responsible for method development, method validation and stability testing of biopharmaceutical products. In addition, the candidate will be involved with development of compositions and identification of appropriate vehicles to support Safety evaluation of new drug candidates and formulation development of various clinical dosage forms.


Responsibilities:Design and conduct appropriate experiments.Write protocols, scientific reports and participate in interpretation of the data. Collaborate with Customer Services, Quality Control; Quality Assurance; Research and Development functions.Communicate with clients on routine basisWrite new SOPs Write protocols and reports in support of stability and validation studies

 

Requirements and Skills:Candidates must have an understanding of the basic principles of Analytical Chemistry and Biochemistry. Experience with HPLC and other analytical instruments including ELISA, CE, Gel Electrophoresis, PCR.Experience with Biopharmaceutical analysis, analytical method development and validation for proteins and peptides are highly desirable.  The candidate should be familiar with working in a cGMP environment.Experience with dosage form design; Injectable dosage forms including lyophilized and non-lyophilized, capsule and tablet dosage form is highly desired.

Education:Requires a MS in Biochemistry, or Analytical Chemistry with a minimum of 2-5 years or a BS degree with a minimum of 4 years of industrial experience.

 The job candidates with a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, or Chemistry will be also considered.
