Job Summary:

The chief responsibilities will be supporting the development of high throughput, highly complex genetic analysis systems based on our proprietary Bead Array Technology.

 

Job duties include but are not limited to: Manage small technical teams to achieve their goals within defined target timeframes, Develop infrastructure processes for product development and manufacturing systems, Solve complex development challenges, Perform data analysis, write reports and present results and project assessments to Senior Management.

 

Education and Experience:The ideal candidate will have a sound foundation in chemistry and a proven track record of technology development in a fast pace biotech environment,A PhD in biophysics, biochemistry or chemistry, with a minimum of 7 years experience in the field of technology development is required,A sound understanding of genetic assay development, DNA hybridization, immobilization and flourophor chemistry with a basic understanding of optical systemsSuperb data analysis skills, exposure to robotic systems and a thorough understanding of process development of multidisciplinary systems, Excellent communication and team management skills and,A desire to be a part of and to lead highly motivated teams in a fast pace dynamic environment.
