Senior Statistical Programmer - SAS

This individual will provide leadership for SAS programming, validation, application development, technical support, and training. Oversee technical operations on project teams, including programming resource requirements and timelines and tracking progress; direct the creation of programming strategies and SAS code for applications designed to analyze data as specified by clinical staff; and choose coding strategies that efficiently utilize programming staff, budget allowance, and timeline constraints. You will also apply expert skills in writing SAS code to produce listings, tables, and figures, and to develop GUI applications; make technical presentations; and provide expertise on the use of medical data, the design of clinical trials, statistics, and compliance with FDA regulations related to the pharmaceutical industry.

Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field and at least 10 years of SAS and relevant pharmaceutical-industry experience. Or a Master?s degree in 8 years? relevant experience. Applicants must possess substantial knowledge related to statistical programming in the pharmaceutical industry, excellent project management abilities, and excellent strategic planning and presentation skills.
