Position Description:

1. Provide statistical support for multiple Clinical and Exploratory Pharmacology projects in the US

2. Develop a strong interface and communication with clients and managers, contractors, external collaborators, and the statisticians of the CP&PK Biostatistics organization

3. Provide direct support, including statistical analysis and reports and consistent with the global strategy developed by the Biostatistics Department

4. Serve as authority on statistical/regulatory aspects of client areas

5. Participate in external professional activities.

6. Under the guidance of Site Leader, prepare Study Statistical Analysis Plan. Design all data presentations including summary tables, graphs, and subject listings
7. Contribute to the study report together with the study team. Responsible for the quality and statistical integrity of study report

Reporting to the Head of US Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacokinetics Statistics
Interfaces with statisticians in other sites, with local scientists

Interactions with CROs, outside consultants, and academic institutions when appropriate
Provide guidance to statistical programmers

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in statistics or related field and 3 years of pharmaceutical experience in Phase I, or MS in statistics or related field and 5 years of pharmaceutical experiences will also be considered

- Clinical research experiences a must.
- Extensive knowledge of statistics in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally applied in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics area of clinical development

- Good mastery of SAS and other softwares, e.g Splus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, direct staff, and collaborate with client managers/department heads

- Good verbal, written and presentation skills
