Senior Technician - Research & Development

Job Summary:

NimbleGen Systems, Inc. has a full-time position available in the Research and Development department for a Technician/Senior Technician in our Madison, WI location. We are searching for an individual with a bachelor?s degree in a molecular biology program with 3 years of molecular biology laboratory experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with microarray technology, manipulating nucleic acids via amplification, and nucleic acid labeling methods. The candidate must have strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Principal Responsibilities

* Prepare nucleic acids for use on NimbleGen?s microarray platform
* Hybridize samples on NimbleGen?s microarray platform
* Develop and optimize novel methods
* Analyze data from microarray experiments
* Execute project goals independently

Requirements

* Bachelor?s degree in the life sciences, with a minimum of 3 years experience.
* A knowledge base in nucleic acid manipulation and hybridization.
