Senior Visual Basic Oracle Programmer

Location: Princeton, NJ

Duration: 6 months Plus

 

Job Description:

A software developer is required for continued development and enhancement of the scientific Workbook.

The candidate must have very strong programming skills and 3-5 years programming experience

preferably supporting Pharmaceutical/chemistry applications. Skills must include demonstrated experience with VB6

and use of Oracle databases systems in a client server environment including significant experience SQL and PLSQL.

Experience with application development using .Net and ASP.Net is highly desirable.

Strong oral and written communications skills are essential.

 

Required Skills:

Visual Basic - 3-5 years

VB.NET - 2 years

ASP.NET - 3 years

Oracle (PL/SQL) development/coding - 3-5 years

 

Prefer candidates with scientific or Pharma experience ? developing /supporting clinical or similar systems

Skills must include demonstrated experience with VB6 and use of Oracle databases systems in a client server environment including

significant experience SQL and PLSQL.. Experience with application development using .Net and ASP.Net is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and support of a Scientific system designed to help manage

diverse information relating to the automated synthesis of combinatorial libraries.

Candidate will support and existing systems, including in-house developed programs, and write new software as required.

Candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team which designs, builds, acquires and evaluates software and

data systems for laboratory automation and information management. Position will require some travel to Connecticut (3 days per/month)
