Service and Support Engineer-Walpole

Product offerings include; central laboratory testing, molecular testing, test instruments and reagents and medical diagnostic systems.
CDI, the on-site recruiting group for our client, is currently searching for talented people to join their successful organization. Our client is currently looking to add a Service and Support Engineer to their team.
This position reports to the Manager of Service and Support Immunology and Hematology Group and will support the Immunology product line.
Duties and Responsiblities Include (But not limited to):
Ensuring timely, effective and satisfactory resolution to customer technical issues and complaints worldwide.
Defines service requirements, develops and implements product support plans and diagnostic tools for assays.
Provides training to support specialists, documentation and procedures necessary to provide quality, efficient and cost effective service.
Provides product design/development feedback, including analysis of assay or engineering changes, technical input to all relevant documentation and training programs.
Required Skills:
Must possess customer focused behaviors along with:
strong, cross functional, written and verbal communication skills.
Must be technically strong in area of method chemistry with system, mechanical/electronic and/or software expertise preferable.
Must be able to analyze, evaluate and resolve complex reagent system issues while being practical, efficient, creative, resourceful and influential in accomplishing project objectives in a timely fashion relative to scheduling and business milestones.
Education and Job-Related Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, and/or Medical Technology.
Typical experience: 3-6 years.
