Software Quality Engineer

Haemonetics is a global company engaged in the design, manufacture and worldwide sales and marketing of automated blood processing systems. Recognized as the innovator in blood technologies, our mission is to create innovative products to advance the safety, quality, and availability of the world's blood supply. These systems address important medical markets: surgical blood salvage, blood component collections and plasma collections. The demand and market for our products is growing, as a result we have the following position available: Software Quality Engineer.

 

The successful candidate will design, develop and conduct test protocols of product and/or components as needed to determine compliance to design requirements. Document results in test reports as required by ISO9001 guidelines and Haemonetics standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintains and troubleshoots the nightly build process in a cross development environment. Manages defect tracking database using standard tools like PVCS tracker. Develop documentation associated with new product or product enhancements and ensure compliance with regulating bodies.

 

BS/EE or BS/CS or equivalent experience preferred. Experience with medical device development preferred. 2-5 years experience in a software test environment.
