Job Description
Internal applicants must apply within the posting period: June 28 - July 11, 2006.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors' degree with 5-10 years pharma industry or Masters' degree in Project Management or equivalent with 3-5 years pharma industry experience required. Pharma industry experience must include some relevant experience in the area of Project Management, Scale-up, or Product Development. Proficient with Microsoft applications including: MS Project, MS Access, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, & MS Word
* Must posses excellent oral and written communication / public speaking / presentation skills
* Knowledge and understanding of NDA and ANDA new product filing and approval process

DUTIES:

* Participate in Product Development Team/Product Development Committee activities by attending meetings to learn about any launch relevant issues or challenges so they can be effectively managed and overcome before the launch is negatively impacted
* Prepare launch/commercialization project plan and kick-off commercialization phase by consolidating all relevant input from all involved functions in order to ensure that the launch plan is optimized and best aligned to support the business goals
* Facilitate and manage commercialization phase of active launch projects by interacting with all levels of the organization to ensure that progress toward the launch goals set for the product and the site
* Prepare for and close out completed launch projects by preparing for and facilitating the close-out meeting while capturing successes and opportunities for improvement to ensure that the launch process is continuously optimized according to experience and in response to changing markets and procedures
* Continuously improve the commercialization phase of new product launch process by meeting with all team members to collect feedback, assign action as appropriate and provide updates to management as appropriate so that the launch phase is continuously optimized
* All other duties as assigned by management to assist department manager, to ensure that department and functional goals are adequately supported and to create possible development or stretch opportunities as appropriate
