Sr. Chemist

Perform physical and chemical laboratory testing of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products,and to lead analytical projects.

 

This position is responsible for the following:

* Provide support for and eventually lead method development and method validation activities 

* Investigate deviations

* Impurities testing

* Perform sampling and testing  of feasibility and GMP compliance

* Maintain lab equipment

* Mentor and train subordinates on method development, validation, and sample testing as well as on operation of instrumentation Give presentations to internal and external customers

 

BS in Chemistry or equivalent degree in physical sciences with ten or more years in the laboratory or

MS with same degree requirements plus eight years minimum of relevent laboratory experience

 

Detailed knowledge of HPLC, GC, KF moisture analysis, particle size equipment, dissolution apparatus, and related laboratory equipment

Working knowledge of personel computers and legible handwriting.
