Sr Marketing/Product Manager - NOVARTIS

DUTIES: The Assay Sr Product/Marketing Manager will provide commercial leadership for blood screening assay development and marketing programs. This person will be responsible for new products, current products, and product extensions. They will be required to assess customer needs, competitive risks, and long-term marketing potential of these products. The role of this manager is to ensure that the assay and product pipeline correspond to market needs and the CBT business strategy, and positions CBT in the most advantageous competitive position in the marketplace. Must have solid assay marketing experience and demonstrate effectiveness in collaborativeefforts for market research needs, competitive analysis, forecasting, product development, launch plan creation, financial analysis, pricing, market plan creation andexecution, and management ofproduct life cycle. As well as a proven track record in global product launches, ability to interpret customer desires into design inputs for product development, and international sales/marketing experience. This dynamic person must have extensive experience in building and sustaining successful relationships with internal and external customers as well as strong leadership and cross-functional team expertise.

 

REQUIREMENTS: BS in life science or marketing and/or MBA, 5-6 years experience in sales and marketing, with emphasis on assay market strategy, product development,and implementation in a blood screening or like market. Strong written and communication skills required. Need the ability to work well within a team as well as independently and experience managing agencies, suppliers, and budgets. Working knowledge of project management and worldwide regulatory processes desirable.
