Sr. Scientist, Pharmacokinetics ( SSP-06)

Description::

This position will work in the Preclinical Development group to manage and support ADME/PK, pharmacodynamic and toxicokinetic related activities for all stages of discovery and early development in a dynamic small molecule-based drug discovery and development company. This individual will be responsible for the design and implementation of studies to evaluate the in vitro and in vivo ADME characteristics of new chemical entities to support clinical candidate selection. This would include the use of suitable formulations, data interpretation, selection of appropriate species and doses, as well as the use of robust prediction methods, for example to estimate  human dose based on multi-species in vitro and in vivo ADME data. . Responsibilities will also involve management of vendors to perform studies in non-rodent species and GLP studies to support clinical candidate selection and advancement, including the writing, review and approval of reports to be used in regulatory submissions. This individual will play a key role in building ADME/PK and toxicology capabilities for discovery and development as the company grows.



Requirements
The qualified candidate must have experience designing, performing and reporting on in vivo ADME, PK and toxicology studies. The candidate will have a Ph.D in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Science, Biology, Chemistry/Biochemistry, or closely related discipline along with more than five plus (5+) years of small molecule pharmaceutical R&D experience with a focus on in vivo PK and/or toxicology.  The individual should have good oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
