Fluidigm uses a proprietary process known as Multi-Layer Soft Lithography to fabricate Integrated Fluidic Circuits.

Position Summary:


Develop assay formats and sample preparation methods while implementing a wide variety of immunoassays on Fluidigm s microfluidic platform.


Essential Duties include:
Set assay performance standards and verify these across a wide variety of immunoassay targets and formats to meet customer expectations
Continually improve assay and product performance through improvements in sample preparation, antibody binding, background reduction, and protocols optimization
Lead collaborative projects with key investigators and customers
Drive reagent sourcing, assay proof-of-concept, characterization, debugging; design of experiments; reagent and protocol development from inception to commercial release.
Provide feedback to microfluidic chip design and software teams to create complete products for multiplexed immunoassays in variety of sample types.
