Territory Staffing Sales Manager 

Since 1997, i3 Pharma Resourcing, a business unit of Ingenix, a division of United Health Group has provided national and international professional clinical research staffing services in the pharmaceutical industry. We place field employees on assignment with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device companies and contract research organizations in developing drugs through clinical trials phases.

 

This position is located in the Northeast or MidAtlantic and is a result of an aggressive expansion effort to service a fast growing multi-billion dollar space.  This territory encompasses the most densely populated client/target rich environment in the world. Office location can be in our offices in Basking Ridge, NJ, Philadelphia, PA or home office based.

 

Core Duties:

 

  Conduct phone appointment setting activity to qualified end users and decision makers in industry client relationship  management database

  Identify, qualify and record leads, contact information and notes regarding the new or ongoing development of new or existing client target

  Work closely with sister business units to share leads and co-present capabilities

  Negotiate and execute services agreements

  Research and submit RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, MSAs and all instruments that would lead to contractual vehicle to conduct business

  Build on the most comprehensive database and network of client and prospect contacts in your territory and any and all national accounts assigned by direct report

   Obtain Qualified Contract, Contract to Hire or Direct Hire openings

Related Experience

 

Two to three years of service/consulting sales experience with strong emphasis on long term relationship building.  Pharmaceutical industry experience not mandatory.  One on one training environment with strong corporate and internal support structure with over 50 years of collective industry expertise.

 

Achieve a full and working understanding of the clinical research industry and its disciplines, including account development and management, recruitment, placement and quality assurance perspectives.

 

Report to Sr. Director, North America as part of a national team of sales and recruiting professionals. Join, participate and attend industry related professional associations, utilizing events and meetings for both sales and recruitment opportunities.  Submit requests and rationale to US Director for exhibition or sponsorships of events.

 

Attend regular Pharma Resourcing team meetings, contributing ideas, helps and information to contribute the success of the division. Promote and atmosphere of mutual and professional respect and dignity both with internal and external clients.

 

Client travel will be primarily within driving distance with occasional flying out to team and trade show events.
